JCON OpenBlend Slovenia 2023 is the in-person Java community conference in Slovenia organized by two user groups: OpenBlend & SIOUG in cooperation with JCON. First Java Conference in Slovenia was organized in 2008, since then many excellent domestic and foreign lecturers have appeared and we changed a few locations and names.

Changes are a constant in the ICT industry, so we are also changing the format or returning to our roots in order to focus as much as possible. This year's conference will be slightly different from the one we are used to. Two conferences will be held in the same premises and at the same time: MakeIT 2023, which is dedicated to content related to Oracle, and JCON OpenBlend Slovenia 2023, dedicated to content related to Java.

Our philosophy remains the same, which is to connect people, enrich them with knowledge and sharing experiences.

JCON OpenBlend Slovenia 2023 will take place on June 1st and 2nd in Portorož, Slovenia. The weather in June allows for unique experiences in coastal tourist resort on northern coast of the Gulf of Piran.
